Tonight is Summer Saturday Stargazing night at Frosty Drew Observatory and weather forecasts are looking quite variable at this point. We can likely expect partly cloudy skies for most of the night. Additionally, the annual Seafood Festival is taking place in Ninigret Park this weekend and the obscene unnecessary lighting coupled with confusing parking staff will make for a poor stargazing experience.

With the threat of clouds and atrocious conditions in the park we will stay closed tonight. But don't take the back seat just yet. On Wednesday, August 12 at 8:30 p.m. we will open all night for the Perseid Meteor Shower, which is set to put on an awesome show this year. So catch us next on August 12th for a fabulous night under the stars.
