Mercury Crossed the Ascending Node

Mercury Crossed the Ascending Node
On November 11, 2019, a stunning Transit of Mercury occurred. Frosty Drew Observatory archived the entire event. In this image, Mercury is crossing its ascending node and transitioning north of the Solar System's plane. This happened at 9:03 am EST. Notice how quiet the solar photosphere is. Not a sunspot in sight. This is solar minimum.
