Saturn

Saturn

This is a shot of Saturn I got at Frosty Drew Observatory using the Meade 16" SCT with my Canon S95 attached A-focally. In this shot the Cassini Division, equatorial bands in Saturn's atmosphere, and the shadow the planet casts on the rings are clearly visible.

Camera: Canon S95 (CHDK) with intervalometer, attached a-focally to the Frosty Drew Meade 16" SCT 4000mm fl, f/10
ISO: 80
Camera F-stop: f/4.9
Exposure: 3.2 seconds total exposure (16 images at 0.2 seconds each)
