The Milky Way Returns for 2017

The Milky Way Returns for 2017
2017 has brought an amazing display of clouds to the Southern New England skies, making for very scarce views of the Milky Way galactic center. The galactic center has returned to our overnight skies this past April and continues to rise earlier with each passing night. To view, you need clear views of the sky with no Moon present and outside of the heavy light pollution of urban areas. We captured this view on Wednesday morning, May 3, 2017 shortly after the Moon set and the clouds cleared.
