Lunar Halo over Frosty Drew Observatory

Lunar Halo over Frosty Drew Observatory

A shot of a fantastic lunar halo I captured last night over Frosty Drew Observatory in Charlestown, Rhode Island, USA. The bright Moon and clouds limited our viewing, but with the increasing humidity and temps hovering around freezing, we were optimistic for the formation of a halo.
Frosty Drew volunteer Tom Abbott is seen pointing out the Halo.
