2015 Leonid Meteor Shower Radiant

2015 Leonid Meteor Shower Radiant
Every November 18-19, the annual Leonid Meteor Shower peaks. A bit of a dud, the Leonid Meteor Shower usually brings and increase of about 15 meteors per hour to clear, dark skies. Though quite a fabled shower due to the 33+ year cycle of meteor outbursts, the shower is always significantly overestimated. Outside of that cycle, at Frosty Drew Observatory, we have observed more non-Leonid meteors during the peak night. In this image, you can see about 3 Leonid meteors among other non-Leonid meteors.
