Capella, found in the constellation Auriga is the seventh brightest star in Earth's sky, the sixth in the night sky. Capella is a bright white star that resides at 42.8 light years distant and is actually made up of 4 stars across 2 star systems that all share a gravitational interaction. Capella is a winter time star in the Northern Hemisphere and the second brightest star in the winter sky for us in the Northern Hemisphere. I shot this at Frosty Drew Observatory on October 6, 2016
