Here is a photo I captured last night during our public solar viewing program. Sunspot activity has increased a bit from previous weeks with sunspots: 1809, 1810, 1811, 1808, 1806, and 1801 visible.
Every Friday evening starting at 6:00 until mid-September we will be observing the Sun at Frosty Drew Observatory. Be sure to stop in for a live view.
