Messier 20: The Trifid Nebula

Messier 20 - Trifid Nebula (M20) is a star forming region visibly featuring an emissions nebula (red), reflection nebula (blue), and a dark nebula. The Trifid Nebula is found in the constellation Sagittarius towards the central bulge of the Milky Way's galactic core, and resides at 5,200 light years distant.
