Nova Sagittarius 2015 No. 2
Nova Sagittarius 2015 No. 2 was identified on March 15, 2015 by John Seach, an Australian amateur astronomer. The nova had reached a peak brightness of magnitude 4.3 around March 21st then began to dramatically dim. Recent observations are showing another increase in brightness and spectroscopic changes as well.
We captured this shot at Frosty Drew Observatory in the morning of March 23rd showing the nova at about magnitude 5.8.
