Cancellation Policy:

The Annular Eclipse event will require acceptable weather conditions. Overcast sky conditions, fog, or rain will not allow for views of the eclipse. Regardless of weather conditions, the event will proceed unless on site conditions are hazardous. In the event of rain, telescopes will not be available. Instead we will live stream a view of the eclipse in the Sky Theatre, Observatory, and Science Center from a location with better sky conditions.

Tickets are non-refundable! If weather is inclement or the event is canceled, tickets will not be refunded. Ticket holders can pick up the Eclipse Glasses that come with their ticket, at the Frosty Drew Observatory and Science Center during any event that occurs after tickets are purchased, including the eclipse event. To do so, be sure to have your ticket either in digital or print form when arriving to pick up your Eclipse Glasses. The glasses can be used anytime the Sun is out, and can be used for the total solar eclipse that occurs on April 8, 2024.

If the event is canceled, ticket holders will receive an email notification of the cancellation at the email address specified during ticket checkout. The notification will include instructions on how to pick up eclipse glasses belonging to the ticket holder.

Thank you for your understanding and let’s hope for good weather, and spectacular views!
