Join us on Memorial Day weekend 2014 as we welcome the Meridian Project to Frosty Drew Observatory. Performing “Comets and Meteor Showers”, the Meridian Project will captivate all in attendance with an evening of performances under the stars.
Performances will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23rd, and music will continue until the early morning, coinciding with the anticipated meteor shower of centuries old fragments from the comet 209P LINEAR as Earth makes its first encounter with this ancient debris field. Performances will include new music and video created and performed by Meridian Project members Caroline Doherty, Joshua Lantzy, Jacob Richman, Jamie Topper, and Kirsten Volness, along with special guest performances of music and dance by Steph Turner and friends, with an installation by Kristina Wolfe. Meridian Project will also present a special encore performance of DARK MATTER.
Visit Meridian Project online to learn more about the Meridian Project then set your schedule to kick off your Memorial Day festivities with an excellent night of music, dance, meteor showers, and stargazing all happening under the stars at Frosty Drew Observatory.
