Venus Passes Third Quarter

Venus Passes Third Quarter
On February 3, 2017, Venus started to show a fabulous waning crescent phase. Currently situated at the Evening Star, Venus has been blazing the twilight sky for months. Venus continues in its orbit to a position where it will arrive between the Earth and Sun, called Inferior Conjunction, on March 25, 2017. Catch a view of Venus at Frosty Drew Observatory over the next few weeks before we lose Venus to the morning sky.
