The Northern Lights Come to Frosty Drew

The Northern Lights Come to Frosty Drew

A fabulous capture of the Aurora Borealis over Frosty Drew Observatory on September 12, 2014 by Christine Rhubarb.

Even though you can clearly see the aurora in this image, we generally do not recommend visiting Frosty Drew Observatory to see the Northern Lights, because we are too far south. Situated on Rhode Island's south coast, you would have to drive south to reach us, and you NEVER want to drive south to see the northern lights.
