Maximum Penumbral Eclipse
This is an image of the Moon at maximum penumbral eclipse during the Total Lunar Eclipse on January 20-21, 2019 at Frosty Drew Observatory. This image was captured at 10:33 pm on January 20th as the Moon was just about to enter Earth's umbra (primary shadow). At this time, the Moon was completely inside the penumbra.
