Here is a sequence image showing the progression of the total lunar eclipse on January 20 - 21, 2019. This image represents 1/6 of our collected data set of the eclipse at Frosty Drew Observatory. The image progresses from right to left, representing the natural eastward motion of the Moon against background stars. During this particular lunar eclipse, we observed a much brighter red hue cast on the Moon during the total eclipse period, compared to the total lunar eclipse on September 27, 2015
