Partial Eclipse in Ha
This is a view of the solar chromosphere during the eclipse. This was captured with the Frosty Drew Hydrogen Alpha solar telescope. Along the chromosphere the magnetic field lines of the Sun are visible as plasma flows along them. Note a couple of subtle prominence that are visible around the edges. This image was captured after Maximum Eclipse had completed and the Moon was departing the area of the Sun.
