Frosty Drew Astronomy Team member, Gavin Olsen, visited Oregon to capture a view of the Annular Solar Eclipse. This is the image he captured during maximum eclipse. Since the Moon was near appogee, which is the furthest point in its orbit around Earth, the angular size of the Moon was not large enough to cover the entire visible area of the Sun.
