Frosty Drew Aurora

Frosty Drew Aurora
On September 11, 2014, a surprise intense geomagnetic storm brought the Northern Lights as far south as Frosty Drew Observatory. Our visitors were able to see the Northern Lights very faintly for about 10 minutes before they faded. This image was captured by Frosty Drew Astronomy Team Member, Scott MacNeill, who scurried to set up his camera outside the Observatory.
