Messier 92 (M92) is one of the brightest globular clusters visible in the Northern Hemisphere skies, making it barely naked eye visible under an exceptionally dark sky. M92 is found in the constellation Hercules and is often overlooked due to its close proximity to the famous Hercules Cluster (M13). Residing at 26,700 light years distant, M92 lies in the halo region of the Milky Way galaxy and is 109 light years in diameter.
