Massive X9.3 Solar Flare Erupted on September 6, 2017
On September 6, 2017 a massive X9.3 solar flare erupted, blasting a huge CME into the solar wind. This is the most intense solar flare since 2008, making this the record holder for the current 11 year solar cycle.
