The Location of Tiangong 1 Re-entry
Tiangong 1 re-entered Earth's atmosphere at approximately 8:16 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 1, 2018 over the Pacific Ocean. This is a common location for controlled satellite re-entry, which worked out well for Tiangong 1, which was uncontrolled at the time of re-entry.
