Earth Day occurs every year on April 22nd. This is a day to get out and celebrate the planet that we are part of. Humanity used to think that we were placed on Earth, or that the Earth belongs to us. Though advances in science and our understanding of the world have shown us that we are not the owners of Earth and that we are not living here, but are part of here. We are another species that is integrated into the vast ecosystem, and we rely on the Earth, and this ecosystem, much more than it relies on us.
