Galilean Moon IO
On December 30, 2023, the NASA Juno mission captured this fantastic image of Galilean Moon, IO during a close flyby maneuver. IO is the closest of Jupiter's four Galilean Moons, and the only one to be experiencing significant amounts of volcanic activity. Image credit: NASA / SWRI / MSSS / Jason Perry
