Solar Eclipse of 2026
On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, a partial solar eclipse occurred over Southern New England. At Frosty Drew Observatory we hosted an event and cataloged the entire eclipse, resulting in over 2,000 images of the eclipse. The eclipse itself started over Frosty Drew at 1:04 pm and continued until 2:45 pm. Maximum eclipse occurred at 1:55 pm when 13.48% of the Sun was eclipsed by the Moon. This gallery will show images of the eclipse that were captured at Frosty Drew Observatory. Enjoy!
