Friday and Saturday. Overcast skies broken by occasional gaps with thin sunshine and frequent periods of showers and a rumble of thunder or two dominated both days. After we had called off Saturday, I had second thoughts for an hour or so when it seemed to be clearing at sunset on Saturday, but within an half an hour clouds rolled back in and it began to sprinkle. I'm sorry the weather disappointed folks who attended the Seafood Festival and expected to come to the Observatory. Not this year at any rate.-Les Coleman
