Friday May 31 2002. 4 people. The sky was brilliant tonight - even electrifying. Some of the objects in the sky were at least -15th magnitude. Since none of us were about to tempt fate by staying in the dome while the lightning flashed overhead, any hopes of an evening stopped at 8:13 PM when we drove out the gates as the first rain fell. -------------------There is a substantial possibility that we may not be able to open on Friday June 7th, 14th and 21st, even if the weather is fine. We will try to post a notice on the website and SNE Gazers Chat Group if we will have to cancel. We are unexpectedly very short handed this month. -Les Coleman
