16 people. In spite of heavy clouds, Cub Scouts, Moms, Dads and brothers and sisters fro the North Kingstown area came to FDO with gazillions of questions. About all we could see through the haze was Mars but we had fun opening and shutting the dome. So I was glad I didn't simply call things off entirely. I managed to install (sort of) a "red crystal rope of lights" around the base of the platform on a remote controlled rheostat which allows safer access to the stairs. Once we get a longer cord to allow easier access it should be fine.-Les Coleman
