Rain and more rain. Now I'm also a gardener and I truly love the natural world, but does the necessary rain ALWAYS have to fall on Friday night?We are still going to try for Omega Centauri over the next four Fridays. I've let the Charlestown Police know that we MAY try to view from East Beach rather than the park if the viewing is better there. If we do and I give Francine the call saying "Come!" please remember East Beach Road is a local street and has 4 way stops several places along the way. You may notice a series of changes going on in the Frosty Drew website. For many years, calling the website a "Frosty Drew website" was a bit of a misnomer. Almost all of it was the Observatory website but we are moving towards a five section website. The Observatory will still be the Observatory (less a few things which are common to the Observatory and the Nature Center). For those of you who care, the old Staff page is being heavily revamped and moved into a new folder called Organization. The Sky Theater will be a section of its own and we are creating a new section called Visiting Us which will contain maps, tips for dressing, precautions for bug bites and anything else which will allow our visitors to have a nicer time at either the Observatory, the Nature Center or - dare I say it the Sky Theater?-Les Coleman
